Dempsey Under New Management

Peter Dempsey will be managed by family friend and ex Irish Formula Ford Champion Anthony Murray.

Anthony Murray was requested by the Dempsey family to assist in promoting, funding and managing Peter during his current campaign in the American Star Mazda Championship.

Murray an ex racer himself believes that Dempsey has the talent, ability and commitment, that with the right funding and support he can make it all the way.

Anthony Murray said, “I believe that Peter Dempsey has the talent, commitment and determination to go all the way to the top of Motor Racing in America and with a bit of Irish luck may even get a chance to succeed in Formula 1. ”

It was out of a chance house call that this deal was struck, Anthony called to the house one evening and caught up with what Peter was trying to achieve in America. Having listened to what was said, he came up with some great ideas, having heard the ideas Cliff and Michelle asked if he would be interested in helping Peter and to their delight he accepted.

Cliff said, “" I am absolutely delighted that my racing friend of 27 years will manage Peter. I was struggling with clashes with our own teams racing program, I would not have been able to attend the races to assist Peter also we were looking for someone to do the management role anyway but for Anthony Murray to take it on is fantastic. I know Anthony will do a brilliant job, he will never give up and will be as determined as Peter is to succeed and it is a great combination.”

Murray will attend all races, his first race will be at Miller Motorsport Park in Utah on the 17th May.
